Opening Day Roster
INTRODUCING THE OPENING DAY ROSTER FOR THE MIGHTY RIVER CATS ROOKIES #2:

1. Cameron Deeks - A good Delaware kid in his first year of rookie ball.  He's got some good speed to
spare and it looks like he is ready to track down some fly balls in the outfield.
2. Abbey Bond - A Komoka girl full of energy in her first year of rookie ball.  She's got some flash
and dash and looks like she is ready to dazzle the fans with her wiggles and giggles.
3. Ethan Bond - A good Komoka boy in his 4th year of rookie ball.  He's gathered up some skills in his
time here and I can't wait to see if he can gun down some baserunners this year.
4. Andrew Butler - A good solid Komoka boy in his 3rd of rookie ball.  He's showing some confidence
and with his incredible tenacity and I am expecting some big hits and fantastic
catches out of this kid this  year.
5. Lily Dearing - A newer addition to the town of Mt. Brydges in her 1st year of rookie ball.  She's a
pint size firecracker with lots of sizzle and pop and if her play is as dazzling as her
smile, she'll be sure to turn some heads.
6. Jack Harding - A good ole Kilworth lad in his first year of rookie ball.  He's a real keener out there
and I can tell he's got good some hits in that quick little bat of his.
7. Josh Hurd - A big strong Kilworth boy in his first year of rookie ball.  He's got some real talent and
spunk and I am sure we are going to see him make some real strides this year.
8. Evelyn Jones - A quiet Komoka girl in her first year of rookie ball.  She's got some length and
speed to her and she is going to show some of these boys how the game of baseball
                      is supposed to be played.
9. Cameron Jones - A wiry Komoka chap in his second year of rookie ball. He can really track em
down and I know the fans are looking to see him flash some more of that leather
                       around the diamond this year.
10. Raileh McEchern - A quiet Delaware boy in his second year of rookie ball.  Looks like he's picked
up some focus and confidence over the winter and with all that skill he
                            posesses.....look out.
11. Jordan Mckellar - A big Delaware kid in his first year of rookie ball.  He's a natural athlete with
some power and I just know he's going to have no trouble picking up the great
                         game of baseball.
12. Blake Scatcherd - A strappy Kilworth chap in his 3rd year of rookie ball. He's a strong kid with
some good bloodlines and his bat looks like it's ready to explode this year.
13. Grant Walden - A solid Komoka boy in his 2nd year of rookie ball.  He's got some power folks
and if we can harness some of that strength some jaws are going to drop.
14. Tessa Walden - A joyful Komoka girl in her first year of rookie ball.  She's the youngest player
on the team and has absolutely no fear out there........she's gonna surprise everyone.

Assistant Coach Tim Walden - Lives in Komoka and his 2 kids, Grant and Tessa, play on the team.
The quiet silent type, he has lots of experience and tonnes to offer these kids.
Assistant Coach Ross Hurd - Lives in Kilworth and his son Josh, is a first year player on the team.
He's an imposing presence and the kids really respond to his competetive but playful
                    nature.
Bench Boss Shannon Scatcherd - Lives in Kilworth and her son Blake plays on the team.  She's a
very experienced ball player and will surely have lots to offer these eager little
                   ball players.
Coach Jamie Bond - Lives in Komoka and his hooligans, Ethan and Abbey, play on the team.  He's
in his 3rd year coaching these rookie rascals and can't wait to see what's in store for
                   the season ahead.
