Remember what Coach Harry Muir taught us...
- work on athletic stance
- remain balanced (keep your upper body quiet)
- use the multiple toe touch (front, behind, front, behind...and then begin your delivery)
- avoid short arming the ball by making a large circle with the ball
- lead with your front hip
- stride (stay closed as long as you can)
- stride length (as long as your personal distance from toes to shoulders)
- eyes to the catcher to ensure that you hit your spot
- finish with your throwing elbow on the outside of your front knee and your glove close to your armpit ready to protect yourself from a batted ball hit back at you
