First Game!!!
We are fast approaching our first game and I am so excited to put all the hard work and dedication to use!
I am getting very exciting for our team to show the great amount of progress and skill that they have started to develop in the last 3 weeks.
Tuesday May 26th at 6pm we have our first game against DKMB LL#2 in Komoka on the little diamond (park at the old community centre). I understand how hard it is for parents to get to the games before 6 as we all work and are rushing home to try and get the kids fed and out the door. If we can try and be at the field 10-15 minutes early to get a warm up in that would be great, as 6pm they will start the game right away.
For safety reasons, all kids must have a chin strap on their helmets when up to bat. I also recommend that the kids have a Jock or Jill on, as we will need to fill the catcher position with a child and they will be expected to catch the balls in the typical catcher stance.
If you are not able to attend the games, I would really appreciate some notice, as I will be preplanning the games the night before and it is very handy to know if someone is not going to be at the games for when I do this.
