The two DKMB teams squared off Thursday night in a well played game under the lights in Komoka. Team #2 showed great improvements on the defensive side of the ball this week which kept them in this close contest. Jordan McKellar stepped up to lead to team as he made multiple great plays in Right Field and got on base in each of his 4 plate appearances. Rookie Max Vandenberg who has been working hard to improve his game also had 2 hits in the contest. Next up, Team#2 heads to Thedford to face the Storm in a rematch of Season Opening Thiller played in Komoka just a few weeks ago.

The boys went into Dorchester on Monday night and picked up a 7-5 Victory. Strong outings on the mound from Will Stewart and David DeJeu helped them overcome some sloppy defense to pick up the W. The RiverCats were in Strathroy on Thursday night. The Royals pitcher turned in an excellent performance, giving up only 1 hit, as the Home Side grabbed a 9-0 victory. DKMB was again haunted by their disconnect on the defensive side. The team hit just .167 on the week (6-36), which is a stark contrast from their early season offensive success. Next up, Team #2 will look to heat up the bats ...
