RiverCats go 1-1-1 in the Wyoming Tournament!
RiverCats play well and certainly competed with 3 Competitive-Level Teams at the Wyoming Tournament.
The kids played hard and learned alot about baseball this weekend. First, we lost to a very good Wyoming team.......they stole home on us 3 times which is something that our boys are just not used to as we are not allowed to steal home in our select league. Then we tied Oakridge 14-14 in a tale of two games; first, we came out a little flat and let Oakridge build a 13-0 lead, but the boys didn't quit and battled back to earn the 14-14 tie. Finally, we beat an Ilderton team 17-14 although we had led 17-4 at one point before finishing them off.
I think everyone had fun, played hard and walked away from the tournament thinking we could play at the next level.
