2021 Baseball Season Update
Submitted By Website Administrator on Fri 04 23, 21
During these unusual times, DKMB Minor Baseball would like to update our players, coaches and their families regarding the status of the 2021 baseball season.

DKMB Minor Baseball, in consultation with the LDBA (London District Baseball Association) and CSL (Community Softball League), is optimistic that we will have eagerly awaited baseball and softball seasons this year. We have been meeting regularly with these organizations, along with their member associations, and are currently setting up game schedules to begin by June 1st.

The June 1st start date will be applicable for all of our LDBA and CSL competitive, select and house-league teams. Our teams will be playing in divisions of 3-4 local teams to maintain 50-player bubbles that are required by the province, local health units and Baseball Ontario.

With the current provincial lockdown order in place, all baseball associations in Ontario are strictly prohibited from running any baseball-related activities (tryouts, practices, scrimmages, games, etc.) until at least May 20, 2021. Unfortunately, any extensions to the lockdown order and/or subsequent colour zones may impact our June 1st start date.

Thank you for your interest in DKMB Minor Baseball and your continued patience during these challenging times. We will be posting any updates to this information (tryout dates, etc.) as they become available.

We are looking forward to the start of the 2021 baseball season!

Take care and stay safe.
