12U Rep Tryout - March 5
After the first evaluation, DKMB will be moving forward with a 12U Rep Team for the 2022 season. The coaches of this team will be Drew Baldwin and Adam Stern.
We would like to invite any players born in 2010 and 2011 who are interested in trying out for the 12U Rep team to come out to Centrefield Sports on Saturday, March 5 from 5:00-6:30 PM. In addition to Saturday, there will be an open workout on Sunday March 6th at 7pm. This will follow the U11 select tryout. U13 and anyone that wants some extra field time are welcome.
To be clear and transparent about the 12U Rep Team, this is a competitive team that will require commitment. Traditionally there are 1-2 games a week with an additional practice session. Playoffs are held in August and the OBA's (Provincials) are on Labour Day weekend. This format for playoffs and OBA's is the same for every age group. The team also plans on entering two tournaments this year - dates TBA.
The coaches are very excited for a fun season of baseball and a great experience for each player and their families.
