With yesterday's
extension of the current government stay-at-home order to at least June 2nd,
DKMB Minor Baseball would like to provide a further update regarding the
upcoming 2021 baseball season.
DKMB Minor Baseball continues to meet with the LDBA (London District Baseball Association) and CSL (Community Softball League) about the current baseball season.
We are currently still planning to run a modified baseball season in some form this year as we await further direction from the provincial government, health authorities and our municipal partners.
If a shorter-than-usual season moves forward, our board has decided that we will be considering a reduction in this year's registration fees.
If the current season ends up being cancelled, DKMB Minor Baseball will be refunding all 2021 registration fees to our families.
We still have some spots available for additional players in the following local league divisions and these divisions have been re-opened for registration:
Baseball - 7U (Rookie Jr)/9U (Rookie Sr)/15U (Bantam)
Softball - U10 (Mite)/U16 (Bantam)/U18 & U21 (Midget/Junior)
