LIBRO Field Opened in Komoka
Submitted By Steve Rumford on Mon 05 26, 14
The Rookie Ball season began this past week with the official opening of LIBRO Field in Komoka.   This little league diamond was renovated and re-opened with the generous support of the LIBRO Community Builder Grant program.  The funding from LIBRO allowed us to renovate both MB Legion and (now) LIBRO Field diamonds.   Special thanks to Cassidy Goetz who lead this project from start to finish and to the Township of Middlesex Centre without who's support the project would not have been completed.   Also thanks to all the volunteers worked throughout last spring and summer to complete the project.  The opening ceremony included teams from Strathroy and DKMB, representatives from LIBRO and several DKMB Executive members.
