Blastball/T-Ball Divsion Opens At New Diamond at Westbrook Park
Submitted By Steve Rumford on Monday, May 26, 2014
The 2014 Blastball/T-Ball season began this past Thursday evening at the brand new Westbrook Park complex.   The baseball diamond features among other things a newly renovated infield and splashpad just on the outer edge of centrefield.   Almost 40 of our youngest players came out to experience baseball for the first time.  Honking bases could be heard through the Kilworth neighbourhood.   Each player received their jersey and hat and were assigned to one of the Royals Tigers, the Navy Sharks and the Red Lions.  Come out and watch on Thursday evening beginning at 6:00.
