Offence stays HOT as RiverCats move to 2-0
DKMB picked up the win in a hard fought battle Thursday night. It was a good back and forth game that saw Southwest battle back from 7 run deficit to tie it up in the 3rd. Team 2 was able to find a way late as they came out on top with a 22-9 victory.
Jordan McKellar, Ben Watson, and Will Stewart each had 2 hits in the contest. David DeJeu and Zack Sibley also continued their hot starts, combining to reach base safely in all 14 of their Plate Appearances this season. Nathan March was able to fight off early control issues in his pitching debut. He settled in to strike out back-to-back hitters with the bases loaded to get out of that tough 3rd inning.
