Volunteer Opportunities, Coach Evaluations and Wrap Up Day
Hello DKMB Families,
It’s hard to believe it is August, the season is flying by! We hope everyone has had an enjoyable season. Here are some important items that need your attention:
Volunteer Opportunities
- We are heading into our playoff season and end of year preparations and NEED
YOUR HELP. We have lots of upcoming volunteer opportunities in August:
Aug 11-13th – Diamond Assistants for Playoff Tournament
Aug 18-20th – Diamond Assistants for Playoff Tournament
Aug 27th – Wrap Up Day
There will also be limited opportunities early fall with equipment and diamond
clean up.

Coach Evaluations - All families involved in DKMB Minor Baseball are
encouraged to provide feedback on the coaches and assistants for their teams.
This feedback will help the association work at ensuring that all players
experience rewarding seasons in continuing years.
Please submit one evaluation per coach or assistant that you wish to provide
feedback for.
Please note that this is a confidential survey and only the coaching committee
will have access to this information. These coaches/assistants may be provided
with aggregate results from a scale (1 to 5) evaluations provided. Specific
comments will not be shared with coaches/assistants. The information provided
will help DKMB determine future coaching positions. Your feedback is greatly
appreciated!
Lastly, our year end Wrap Up Day will be Sun. Aug 27th from 5pm-7pm at the
Komoka Community Centre. There
will be pizza, bouncy castles and lots of fun! We will also have uniform return
(jerseys only) for 7U-22U who have already completed their season. All
Blastball players keep their jersey and ball cap. Please
see the poster included for more information.
Thank you to all the coaches, assistants, scorekeepers, umpires, groundkeepers,
players, and everyone who helps make the season a success. We appreciate
everyone’s time and effort, ensuring our youth have a fun and rewarding season
of ball! Go Rivercats!
